MDPLAYER is a media player developed by MDGROUP. This document explains, plainly, what data we collect and what we do with it.
We do not record what you watch. Not titles, not channels, not viewing history. That information never leaves your TV, and we neither receive it nor store it at any point.
With nobody, beyond what taking payment requires: the payment gateway receives the amount and a reference to your device so it can be activated. We do not sell, rent or hand over data to third parties, and we use no external analytics or advertising services. The rest of the data lives on our own server.
Bear in mind that your TV connects directly to your playlist provider in order to play. That connection does not go through us, and whatever that provider records is governed by their own terms.
For as long as you use the app. If a device stops connecting, its record may be deleted. Activation records are kept for as long as accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete the rest at any time.
Remove your playlists from My playlists —they are deleted from the server immediately— and write to us at mdgroupdeveloper@gmail.com with your device MAC if you also want its record erased. We do it without asking why.
All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS. Your playlist access details are stored encrypted and never appear in the server logs. Even so, no system is infallible: if we detected a breach affecting you, we would tell you.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. It includes PIN-based parental control for adult sections.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top.
